1. Does Santa wrap the presents he leaves at your house?

No. Santa leaves 1 present that the child has asked for the rest are from mom and dad. When my kids were small, I was a single mom of 3. I decided that I worked to hard for the kids not to respect some of the things they got at christmas. Also to realize that Santa can not give everything asked for.

2. When is your "big" Christmas celebration...Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Tell us about it...


We all gather at my house on christmas eve. This was done initually so the kids could go to in laws on christmas day and not have to hurry from family to famliy. On christmas eve I have them all to myself. I know selfish but very smart on my part


3. Are you big on keeping tradition every year?
I try to keep up some of my family traditions. So yes.


4. Do colored lights or white lights tickle your fancy?
Colored.

5. Do you decorate outside your house for Christmas?
I used to but don't have small kids anymore.. I let their parents take care of that.

Christmas MEME

I have decided to create a blog for expressing my thoughts and to scream on paper instead of in my livingroom. I am new to all of this stuff. Typing, doing fonts, making a complete sentence which I  never do it right. But I hope everyone will just hang in there and give me a chance to make you laugh or cry or just enjoy reading my blog.

Christmas meme

1. Have you started your Christmas Shopping?
Yes I start it early.


2. Tell me about your special Traditions.
Baking is what I love to do. I usually bake the week before christmas. Everyone comes at one time or another to help.
 

3. When do you put up your Tree?
Around December 15th. when my kids were growing up, it drove them crazy. All their friends would ahve their tree up Thanksgiving. But mine really enjoyed the tree once it was there.


4. Are you a Black Friday Shopper?
Yes


5. Do you Travel at Christmas or Stay home?
Stay home

6. What is your funniest Christmas memory?
When my children were young,I was a single mom. so I worked swing shift. Our rule was christmas morning no one could get up before 6. We wouldset the alarma nd when it went off they could get up. One year the alarm went off, we got up so they could see what Santa had brought. I got my coffee and then we opened presents.After doing that we decided to watch some tv. Nothing on but infomerials. How could that be it should be tiem for cartoons or something. I looked closer at the time on my watch and low and behold my son had set all the clocks ahead 3 hours. So it was now 5 oclock in the morning. Needless to say I kept a close watch on the clocks after that.


7. What is your favorite Christmas Movie?
This is a hard one.
For that Make you feel good: Love Actually
For that make you laugh: Christmas Vacation
For the one I watch with the grandkids: The Santa Clause (the first one).
 

8. Do you do your own Christmas baking? What is your favorite treat?
Yes. My popcorn balls. My kids love the homeade Oreo's.



9. Fake or Real Tree?
Fake I love real trees but don't like the mess.
 

10. What day does the actual panic set in to get it all done?
The day after christmas.For the year to come.
11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes

12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas?
We all get together and bake. It is getting harder to do that with everyone grown with families of their own. But we try.


13. What Christmas craft do you like best??
Making ornaments


14. Christmas music?
I have a couple.

At the coner gas station that has everything christmas eve. Just kidding. Hopefully this weekend.
